Summary:
This job cleans and services areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas.
Responsible for maintaining a clean aseptic environment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Maintains assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner.
Assures that the hospital is free of litter and has a pleasing overall appearance.
Picks up all litter on hospital property to include outside entry's, sidewalk, ER parking, front entrance, and visitors parking.
Picks up all trash inside of hospital and dispose of per policy.
Collects all biohazard trash throughout hospital and transport to the biohazard storage area.
Gather and empty trash.
Collect all discard boxes from each department in the hospital and breaks them down before transporting to dumpster.
Cleans outside by dumpster area:
pickup litter, sweeps, and washes down concrete.
Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must process the ability to stand, reach, lift, and concentrate on the job at hand.
Some light lifting is required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently after giving a directive order.
Must be able to work weekends.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one-year related experience required.
On - site training is available.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
