Summary:
This job cleans and services areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas.
Responsible for maintaining a clean aseptic environment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Maintains assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner.
Maintains environmental closet and equipment in a clean, aseptic, and orderly manner.
Assists with special cleaning projects and room turnover.
Will include general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuum, dusting, cleaning windows & buffering.
Gather and empty trash.
Use proper use of cleaning chemicals and related equipment must be used in safe manner.
Maintain janitor closet in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Maintain housekeeping equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must process the ability to stand, reach, lift, and concentrate on the job at hand.
Some light lifting is required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently after giving a directive order.
Basic knowledge of cleaning product.
Must be able to work weekends.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one - year related experience required.
On job training PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
