Obtain all medical records from nurses' station and place in the appropriate patient's chart in the appropriate section.
Audit Sheets, intake Sheets, CEC, PEC, CON, Medicaid Eligibility, Consents, Physician Certificate of minor, Discharge Summary, Psych Eval, H&P, Treatment Plan.
Physician Orders, Patient Medication Identification, discharge note, progress note, Psych Social, Nursing discharge planning, MARs, prescriptions, labs, nursing flow sheets, graphic sheets, tech observation sheets, safety plan, patient inventory, documentation from sending facility.

Assembles records in accordance with approved chart order in a timely manner ensuring that each sheet of paper in the patients' chart is labeled with a patient sticker unless the sheets are a computer printout with the patient demographics on it.

Your role is to answer the phone verify the patients' Security code and transfer the call to the nurse, therapist or the appropriate staff member.

HIPAA Privacy Duties Assist in the identification, implementation and maintenance of facility health information privacy policies and procedures; Performs ongoing compliance monitoring activities; Ensure the facility has and maintains appropriate privacy and confidentiality consent and authorization forms, information notices and materials reflecting current organization and legal practices and requirements; Oversees, directs, delivers and ensures delivery of privacy training and orientation to all employees, medical and professional staff; Establishes and maintains a mechanism to track access to protected health information; Oversees and ensures the right of the patients to inspect, amend and restrict access to protected health information when appropriate; Oversees process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and taking action on all complaints concerning the facility's privacy policies and procedures in collaboration with the Director of HIS and CEO; Ensures compliance with privacy practices and consistent application of sanctions for failure to comply with privacy policies; Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to promote privacy awareness within the organization; Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws, accreditation standards, and monitors advancements in information privacy technologies to ensure facility's adaption and compliance 3.
HIPAA Security Duties Responsible for implementing, managing and enforcing information security derivatives within regulatory mandates to protect patient health information; Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with business strategies and privacy requirements; Ensure optimal application of technology functionality to protect patient health information; Oversees, directs, delivers and ensures delivery of information security training and orientation to all employees, medical and professional staff; Conduct risk analyses to assess the probability of risks occurring and the impact on the facility; o Perform ongoing security audits to assess effectiveness of facility policies and procedures and systems security safeguards; 4.
Meetings/Projects/Events Attend daily shift report when reporting for duty Attend all training as required by supervisor Attend and actively participate daily in multidisciplinary staffing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
